Princess Dialta Alliata di Montereale


A Florentine, Princess Dialta has lived in Honolulu since 1999. In Italy she was the Editor in Chief of the ecological magazine Essere Secondo Natura. She’s written, produced, acted and directed in films including Turtles, a poetic love story, and The Princess and the Rooster, on children's etiquette. Her latest work, Dialta wrote and published "MY MOTHER, MY FATHER AND HIS WIFE HORTENSE" - The true story of Villa La Pietra. The Florentine Love Story is being developed into a screenplay. Princess Dialta is a driving force behind the film festival and namesake of the coveted annual award honoring the Best Film of Hawai'i European Cinema.

Patrick R. Gey

Patrick Gey is originally from Paris-France with a highly accomplished career in the luxury fashion sector for over 25 years within diversified markets from France and Europe to Asia-Pacific. He held successfully upper management positions with companies such as Christian Dior, Boucheron, Fendi, Louis Vuitton and today is the General Manager of Versace Hawaii. Gey has established has himself as a distinguished debonair of style, service and culture and resides in Honolulu with his family. His passion for the movie industry gives him an exciting role with Hawai'i European Cinema film festival.

Chris is a motion picture producer (Valkyrie, Superman Returns), former President of Production of Columbia/TriStar Pictures, and the Founder and Director of the Academy for Creative Media at the University of Hawaii.

Kelly Sanders


Founding Member

Kelly is the Area Managing Director, Starwood Waikiki. He joined the Sheraton 2006 and led this property through its exciting $200 Million dollar repositioning of this iconic property in the heart of Waikiki Beach. The repositioning of the largest Sheraton in North America has brought back a new sophistication to this property and has created the Sheraton Waikiki as the epicenter of excitement on this fabled beach.


Zinc Lin


Born in Taiwan and immigrated to Singapore before moving to the US, Zinc resided briefly in California and Texas prior to relocating to Hawaii. Although he graduated from University of Hawaii at Manoa with a degree in Biology, he pursued a career in luxury retail after choosing Honolulu as home. Zinc's professional experience began at Louis Vuitton where he fulfilled various management roles. It was then he enrolled in Hawaii Pacific University's graduate program where he completed his MBA. More recently he spent a year with Tiffany & Co. before returning to LVMH as Boutique Manager at Christian Dior.

Guido Carlo Pigliasco, J.D., Ph.D.

Guido was born and raised in Milano, Italy, and is a lecturer in cultural anthropology and Italian language and culture at the University of Hawai‘i. He has written documentary films on contemporary Oceania for Italian television and authored the ethnographic novel Paradisi Inquieti. Combining academic with applied work, his most recent research and publications concern the application of cultural heritage policies in the Asia-Pacific region.  Guido currently serves as the Marketing and Promotions Director of EuroCinema.

Carmen Di Amore-Siah

Carmen Di Amore-Siah is of Italian descent, and  has served as Legal Counsel for ECH and HEC since its inception.   Ms. DiAmore-Siah manages an    Immigration and Family law practice and  has an expertise in processing  extraordinary and exceptional  ability foreign nationals, in the arts, sciences, media, entertainment fields  and athletics. She has  served as the State of  Hawaii Honorary Vice Counsel of Italy (1994-2008); where she  is currently Counsel Emeritus with the Hawaii Consular Corp (2008- present). She is an active member of the National and Hawaii Immigration Lawyers Association (1990 to present)  and has served  as  Chair of  the Hawaii Immigration Lawyers Association, (2009 – 2011) and has  served on State and Community boards in  Hawaii. She is an  avid world  traveler with a keen interest in European film and culture.

Erika Kauffman

Erika Kauffman, a Kona-girl, was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawai`i. She is the CEO of “E-PR”, an independent public relations specialty firm representing celebrated clients such as actors Daniel Dae Kim, Grace Park, and Nobu Waikiki, as well as Hawaii European Cinema, among others. Sought after for one-on-one, personalized, results-driven PR strategies, E-PR is making waves beyond the shores of Hawaii, having just expanded to Los Angeles and representing clients in New York and Toronto. Kauffman’s superb communications skills, corporate efficiency, vast bi-costal sector experience, fused with her keen understanding of the islands, community and talent relations, make her vital to leading brands and portfolio growth.

Jill Kuramoto

Secretary & Director of Guest Relations

Jill is a veteran journalist, a long-time resident of Hawaii, and an active member in the community serving on several non-profit boards and committees. She is currently the Director of Communications for the Hawaii State Senate.  During her two decades in broadcast journalism, Jill has won awards for her work as a reporter and anchor, which took her from reporting on the red carpet to covering natural disasters. She brings with her a broad background in media and community relations, as well as utility industry and government relations.

Wanda Watumull

Originally from the United Kingdom, Wanda’s love for Hawaii and her fascination for its rich history inspired her and a brilliant team of film makers to make a movie about one of Hawaii’s young royals. Set in the late 19th century, her film “Princess Kaiulani” tells the painful story of the collapse of Hawaii’s monarchy which led to its eventual annexation.  As an Executive Producer, Wanda is now working on several other exciting film related projects.

Aida Takla-O’Reilly

Aida Takla-O’Reilly was born in Egypt and earned her Ph.D. in comparative literature from the Sorbonne in Paris.  She has been a member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association since 1956, and has the distinction of having four times served as its president.  Her extensive travels and years spent in Europe have influenced her love of European cinema.   She is a prolific journalist and writes for several Dubai publications, and is passionate about promoting the work of island-based filmmakers.
